Roca is a contemporary, bilingual (Spanish and English) Christian church. Overwhelmed by the gift of salvation we have found in Jesus, we have a heart for authentic worship, are passionate about the local church, and are on mission to see God’s kingdom established across the earth.
Our Purpose.
We exist to Re-Present God to the lost and found for transformation in Christ. We are a multi-church. Meaning we are a multi-generational, multi-ethnic, multi-plying, and multi-campus.
Our Mission.
To reach and influence the world by building a large Christ-centered, Bible-based church, changing mindsets and empowering people to lead and impact in every sphere of life.
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only Son, that whoever believes in him should not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but in order that the world might be saved through him.
John 3:16-17 ESV
Our Values.
Identity in Christ
Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me. If ye had known me, ye should have known my Father also: and from henceforth ye know him, and have seen him (John 14:6-7).
Church Is Family
Now therefore ye are no more strangers and foreigners, but fellowcitizens with the saints, and of the household of God; (Ephesians 2:19).
Kingdom Culture
Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you always, even unto the end of the world. Amen (Matthew 28:19-20).
Spirit Led Life
But the Advocate, the Holy Spirit, whom the Father will send in my name, will teach you all things and will remind you of everything I have said to you. (John 14:26)
What We Believe.
God as Trinitarian
God is three persons that are unique yet are of a single divine essence. The three Persons being God the Father, God the Son and God the Spirit (Matthew 3:16-17).
Christ as Lord and Redeemer
Jesus Christ is God the Son in flesh and blood. In the book of John, he explains that God the Son can also be called the Word, and that Word became flesh. The sinless life, death and resurrection of Christ has given us first hand access to the free gift of Grace and Redemption (John 1:1).
The Scriptures
The Christian Bible is given by the inspiration of God and is our ultimate guide for doctrine, correction, and training in righteousness (2 Timothy 3:16; 2 Peter 1:21).
Humankind, the Fall and Redemption
Humankind is a created being, made in the likeness and image of God. Because of Adam and Eve’s fall, sin and evil exist in our world. However, because of the life, death and resurrection of Christ, humanity has been offered redemption from its sin. Salvation is a gift from God to humankind - separate from works and the law - and is activated by grace through faith in Jesus Christ (Ephesians 2:8).
